While growing up in Lusaka, Zambia, Dr Catherine Muyeba envisioned a life as a doctor helping people. She is now a Regional Lead Consultant Psychiatrist in Greater Manchester, UK, with over 22 years of clinical experience in the community, hospitals and prisons. She supports adults, children and families affected by substance misuse with or without mental illness. She has a special interest in Adult ADHD and runs a private practice.
A passionate advocate for mental health and addictions, Dr Muyeba volunteers, mentors, educates and raises awareness with a view to reducing stigma and improving help-seeking. As a Certified Lifestyle Physician recognised by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine, she focuses on empowering people, inspiring them to embrace vibrant and fulfilling lives.
Dr Muyeba has an unshakable belief that everyone has greatness in them, and she views her life's purpose as a meaningful journey of unlocking and nurturing that extraordinary potential. She realised the impact of her teenage daydreaming on her adulthood, and now teaches others the guiding roadmap behind all her offers including daily planners and journals.
The REAP & Rise Roadmap involves consistent Reflecting, Envisioning, Analysing, and Planning our lives. The crucial step is to implement, nurture, and grow our vision to achieve the goals outlined in the REAPing process.
Married for over 30 years, she is a mother of two adult children, and is actively involved in pastoral care at her local church. She satisfies her creative traits through designing garments for her clothing line, Chitenge Garments, making nappy cakes for newborns, and event planning.
